Myths about Wrinkles & Ageing Unlocked

Hi my dears!!

Hope you all are doing fine. I was doing some research on ageing and wrinkles and read many books regarding these topics. It was then a thought struck me. How would it be if I shared all the useful information with my sweethearts!!! :) Such a wonderful thought isn't it!! :)

Today I am gonna break down this topic into two to three posts so that you will feel free to go through the myths and facts one by one and can gain more insight.

Myth:
Grey hair is the starting sign of ageing.

Fact:
Although this is partly true, grey hair is not the only sign for ageing. Some people may experience wrinkles as the first sign.

Myth:
Ageing starts to appear at the age of 60.

Fact:
The process of ageing takes place right from the moment we are born.

Myth:
Wrinkles start to appear only on the fore head.

Fact:
There are many forms of wrinkles which form in any direction on the face.

The above are some of the common myths that people take for granted. As said before, ageing does not start all of a sudden. It is a gradual process. When your skin starts ageing, it produces low amounts of collagen and natural oil. Due to this, your skin tends to become dry. Sometimes you may also experience some itching sensation on your skin. This gradually leads to wrinkles.

Wrinkles are of two types- folds and fine lines. When you stretch your forehead or the skin on your face, you will notice folds on your forehead, face, nose and on the edges of your eyes. These are called expression lines. These lines can be seen when you show anger or sadness or other negative expressions and fade off  after a while. But as time passes by, these lines tend to stay on your face in the form of folds and wrinkles.

When you start seeing wrinkles on your face, be careful in choosing your skin products and other cosmetics. In the next post, I shall share about the precautions to be taken for preventing wrinkles and the necessary steps tofollow for curing wrinkles. So do keep reading my posts. Share them with your friends, family and relatives and finally feel free to drop your valuable comments and suggestions. Meet you in next post. Until then take care:)
